WABC-TV has internship opportunities in the following areas:

Production Manager
Production manager interns interact with every other department at the station on a daily basis. You will be able to get an overview of how the station works and develop a basic knowledge of the tools and concepts used in TV production.

Creative Services - Promotion
This department functions as the station's in-house advertising agency. Interns will gain knowledge and experience in field and post-production techniques, creative writing for promotional scripts and electronic and print media. Interns assist writers in researching appropriate video, graphics and audio for spots.

WABC-TV 7online.com
Interns assist interactive site producer with development of station's website. Intern gathers information for database and responds to user email. May have some hands-on experience with the web site, but would be primarily working without the use of a computer.

Community Services
Interns are involved in the station's community outreach strategies, gaining knowledge and experience in research, public service announcement production, creative writing and interfacing with news and programming.

Graphics
1. Art Department creates electronic graphics for Eyewitness News and other programs and services. Students participate in the day-to-day production of print and electronic graphics.
2. 7ONLINE.COM - help with the development of the station's website.

Minimum - 16 hours per week
