TV production / Queens
QPTV offers internships in their Program, Production and Studio department.
Program department intern duties include: transmission from TX room; tape library logging; shipping of tapes; handling phone requests from providers; labeling videocassette carriers, library archiving (technical); and dubbing tapes.
Producer services department intern duties include: Familiarizing and inventory of video equipment room; updating access producers projects; assisting in portapak/editing workshops; assisting on location and in-house shoots; dubbing tapes; and location scouting, phone work and CG
Studio operations intern duties include: dubbing tapes; assisting producers; updating certification lists; assisting in studio workshops; assisting in shooting Public Service Announcements; general assistance in studio; and other tasks as necessary.
All interns are expected to be prompt and to dress in a respectful manner appropriate to an office and studio environment.
- minimum of 15 hours per week for 12 weeks
- stipend of $25 per week for 12 weeks (max $300)
