Intern Responsibilities: Interns will be expected to
* create charts and graphs of promotional materials, inventory of warehouse, help out in creating and distributing film elements for Home Video such as, Digi betas, Betas, DA-88 sand.
* watch for and inspect materials for technical problems.
*Assist in managing budget costs for shipping and marketing fees.
* help out in main streaming their new website with distributor order forms by corresponding with distributors.
*in addition to also doing filing, faxing, swipping, and xeroxing.
Job Environement: The intern will be working directly under the supervisor in the International Distribution Division. There will be a review of performance of intern every month which will be reported to supervisor.
Qualifications: interns need to be computer savy, with a good amount of knowledge of PC, good people skill, and responsible and eager to learn.
Skills Learned: Intern will gain excellent knowledge of the film industry, he/she will find out how movies are marketed, sold, and distributed internationally. He/she will also find out how important it is to be accountable and responsible in the real world. He/she will leave with a great deal of knowledge of working with other countries outside the US.
There is summer stipend available for interns.
Students need to submit resume/cover letter, letter of recommendation from either Prof. Durso (Queens, Communication majors), Prof. Caputi (Queens & Staten Island, TV/Film Studies majors) or Dr. Greh (Staten Island, Communications majors).
