MSG Network offers internships in all aspects of TV production in various sporting events at both Yankee Stadium and at the Garden. MSG is owned by Cablevision.
The SPORTSDESK TV Production intern will support studio and remote production. Through a variety of tasks and exercises the production intern plays a vital part in the day to day assistance of the production department.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Log videotapes
2. Set up tapes for records
3. Provide detailed logs of footage used on the networks
4. Communicate with associate directors and producer on breaking news items
5. Participates in special projects and performs other duties assigned
6. Be available for various field interviews.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR ALL INTERNSHIPS
-Strong knowledge of sports
-Knowledge of TV production
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-Knowledge of Word and Excel
-Some night availability may be required
*** MUST be available at least three days a week. A $25.00 a day stipend will be provided to offset cost of travel and lunch. ***MSG has internships in many other areas, such as promotions, marketing and public relations. TV/Film Studies majors are NOT eligible to intern in these areas. Your internship must be in production.
