Inner City Theater Group is the production company that created and produced the nationally syndicated show "It's Showtime at the Apollo" for over 15 years and continues to produce the same show under the new name "Showtime in Harlem", now aired on UPN 9 on Saturday nights at 1AM.
Interns receive hands-on experience by:
_ viewing amateur tapes
_ conducting outreach to recruit amateurs
_ participate in development meetings
_ data entry
_ general office duties
_ and running errands as needed
During taping periiods, the student will be assigned to specific areas of production, ie wardrobe, utilities, talent, audience etc.
(Must have an interest in television production and give at least two days per week.)
