Fort Productions is our audio/visual production unit that is committed to capturing high-quality content ranging across all media, from television and radio to internal communications and the web, in both standard and high-definition formats.
Rooftop Edit based on the west side of Manhattan, handeles a variety of post-production projects, with in-house non-linear editing (Avid and Final Cut Pro HD) audio recording/mixing (Pro Tools) and high-end finishing (Autodesk Smoke).
Fort Productions offers a production/post production oriented internship for anyone interested in the television production business. This internship experience offers many opportunities to acquire skills and interact with senior management, as well as production/post-production personnel.
Semester Perioids:
January-May (Spring)
May- August (Summer)
September-December (Fall)Qualifications:
*enrolled in an accredited four or five year college or university
*able to provide proof of credit from your college prior to starting your assignment
*on track to receive a bachelor or advanced degree from a college or university
*currently of sophomore standing or aboveInternships emanate from our NJ corporate office Ridgefield Park, but will require travel to location shoots or one of our two offices in Manhattan.
Internships are unpaid - reasonable transportation reimbursement per month.(Lots of CAS graduates work here. Many were TV Crew and/or TV Club members and are eager to work with our SJU interns.)
