CBS News is offering internships for undergraduate graduate students enrolled in the schools of Journalism, Broadcasting and Communications on the following shows:

_ Evening News
_ 60 Minutes
_ 60 Minutes II
_ The Early Show
_ 48 Hours
_ The Saturday Early Show
_ Sunday Morning
_ Face The Nation
_ CBS Productions
_ CBS Newspath
_ Public Relations
_ Promotions
_ CBS Radio News

There are openings in the following cities: New York, Washington D.C., Miami, and Atlanta. Interns are responsible for their own living arrangements.

The number of positions is limited and each is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Duties vary depending upon department assignment. They include, but are not limited to, logging tapes, coordinating scripts, research, viewer mail, and clerical work.
  • Eligibility requirements: You must currently be attending an accredited college, entering your junior or senior years and majoring in broadcast journalism, or mass
    communication. Participant should have basic computer skills, excellent oral and written communication skills and have a GPA of 3.0.
  • Additional requirements: CBS must receive written confirmation from your
    college stating that you are receiving course credit for the internship This letter must be must be on file on or before the first days of work.
  • Time required: The internship requires a commitment of a minimum of two days a week during the fall and spring87 semesters and full time during the summer.
