RESEARCH INTERESTS

My research interests are in the area of developmental psychology, particularly early child development. I have conducted research on infant and toddler learning, memory, and categorization. More recently, I have examined young children’s emotional, autobiographical memories, in some cases using children’s drawing as a cue for memory. I am also involved in a research project designed to study the emotional, behavioral, and familial characteristics of young children of alcoholics and substance abusers.
