RESOURCE LINKS

  1. Alta Vista: Probably the most comprehensive search engine, great place to find anything. Lots of cool features. Check out their online translations of web pages!
  2. Excite: Solid search engine, sometimes finds info in discussion group postings.
  3. Infoseek: Good search engine, much like excite, can augment web page searches.
  4. Lycos: Very comprehensive, much like Alta Vista, a nice second choice.
  5. Magellan: Older search engine, still around and still helpful.
  6. Yahoo: Organized by categories and topics, excellent place to find businesses, organizations, agencies, etc. Also has yellow pages, maps, and many other cool features.
  7. Other Search Engines: I wouldn't start here, but if you can't find it elsewhere, give these a try.
  8. Einet Galaxy Search Page: Another oldie but moldie, but hey, who knows, it could be just what you're looking for.
  9. Special Education Search Page: If you want to start a search related to special education topics this is a good place to start.
