Official site of the CHC Cross-Battery Approach
Dawn P. Flanagan, Ph.D. & Samuel O. Ortiz, Ph.D.

Welcome to the official site of the CHC Cross-Battery Approach (XBA), developed by Dawn P. Flanagan, Ph.D., Kevin S. McGrew, Ph.D., and modified and extended with assistance from their colleagues, Samuel O. Ortiz, Ph.D., Vincent C. Alfonso, and Jennifer T. Mascolo.  The approach is based on the Cattell-Horn-Carroll (CHC) theory of cognitive abilities and processes (formerly known as Gf-Gc theory). The XBA approach is an innovative framework for enhancing the reliability and validity of the measurement and interpretation of cognitive constructs.

XBA Online is intended to serve as the central clearinghouse for dissemination of information, electronic resources, and downloadable materials related to all aspects of the XBA approach.  Click on Resources for the latest information and materials.

Thank you for visiting CHC Cross-Battery Online and we welcome your suggestions and comments. Email may be sent to Agarosa.

Our sincere thanks go to Robert Misak for his generous assistance in the initial development and design of this web site and for helping us to finally get it going. Thank you, Robert!
