Center for Teaching and Learning

I have been a faculty member at St. John’s University in New York for 35 years.  I teach introductory science to nonmajors and I love it.  Finding ways to make biology more interesting led me to an interest in the scholarship of teaching and learning.

My research is on the visual aspects of biology and on the aesthetics of science.
